Working on Memento Mori Part 2 for EW#3

I just finished some panels for the next installment of my mini-trilogy “Memento Mori,” which started in ELFWORLD #2 and will continue in EW #3. There is always a lot of talking in my comics, so I’m trying to balance these installments out with some rock-em sock-em action whenever I can. I’m pretty pleased with my work on this chapter, and I esp. liked this bloody little panel, which I just finished working on a bit ago. I kind of love this character, Ilyana. And sound effects.

In other fantasy-related news, I’ve finally bit the bullet and started A Game of Thrones (in audiobook form). Pretty rad, I must admit. I also watched “Your Highness,” not bad at all. Also, I’ve been finalizing the contents of the next issue of ELFWORLD, and it looks really good: Ed Luce, Tom Biby, Jesse Reklaw, Jess Smart Smiley, Isaac Cates and Mike Wenthe, Roman Muradov, Ryland Thomas, Maris Wicks, myself, and Eve Englezos and Josh Moutray. Whew!
