An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge

A few of the drawings I did for an illustrated version of Ambrose Bierce’s “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” for Scout Books, which I was also the editor and designer for.

One of the illustrations was included in the 2020 edition of American Literature and Rhetoric textbook, published by Bedford, Freeman, and Worth.

The original book was part of the War Stories collection from Scout Books (along with Mark Twain’s “A Private History of a Campaign that Failed” with art by Pete Gamlen and Stephen Crane’s “The Little Regiment” with art by Simon Roy).
